The Selfie Pod

The most versatile of our Photo Booths – The Free-standing Booth

The Selfie Pod is a versatile ‘open air’, free-standing Photo Booth which is technology packed. Although small in size, it offers a high quality ‘end product’ with the extra benefit being of limitless capacity – you can get as many people into the picture as can possibly fit!

The Selfie Pods can also be transformed into GIF Booths, Flip-Book generators, Social Media Pods, Sticker Printing Booths and table-top Pods – all of which are fully customisable!

As per all our Photo Booths, we can personalise the internal, external and the supplementary items (i.e. props), so get in touch to tailor a package to your specific event!

CUSTOM PRINTS

All of our units produce output which is ‘fully’ customisable. We have our own designer to ensure your requirements are met to the highest level, be it following branding guidelines, or customising graphics for a private event, we can do it all!

None of our products go to an event without prior approval either. We always ensure mock-ups are provided, and subsequently signed off, to ensure you know exactly what is being produced for your event (in plenty of time) – we don’t want any unwelcome surprises on the day itself!

CUSTOM EXTERIORS

We offer a choice of black or white exterior as standard – this can also be de-branded if required. We also offer partial, or complete custom branding options.

Finally, we provide alternative product options of vinyl, or static cling stickers, where full branding is not a required or viable option. These are variable in size and work perfectly for those on a reduced budget, with no compromise on the quality of the end product – we only look to provide the best for our clients!

Our designer will assist in a full consultation, to ensure maximum brand awareness can be achieved, with your chosen option.

CUSTOM BACKDROPS

The beauty of the Pod is that it can shoot au-naturel – against a venue wall.

We also offer hirable alternatives, which can transform the set-up into a mini Photo-studio.

One solution is a 2m x 2m free-standing ‘aluminum’ structure, which accommodates ‘stretched fabric graphics’. The quality is second to none!

The second solution is the customisation of a pull-up banner backdrop – these vary in size and are highly versatile (and a little more portable).

With both of the above options, we offer a graphic designing service, should you prefer us to do the work. Get in contact to run through all options on offer!

ADDITIONAL EXTRAS

We strive to offer the biggest range of product additions where applicable and possible. We are constantly upgrading our Inventory and not all is listed online, so do get in touch to find out what we have in stock to offer for your event.

RED CARPET & POLES

These can be used to add the fancy element to your event. The poles can also be accompanied by red, blue or black rope. Please note that we would require a further 2 metres of working space.

GUEST BOOK

With this option, we supply all the necessary utensils. This produces a great memento for that special event, with an additional set of prints provided from the Pod, to place inside the book, for that ‘interactive’ element. We have different choices of book colour, so get in touch to see what we can do for your event.

WIND MACHINE

If you want to create a scene, theme, or simply a 4D experience with the Pod, this is for you! This also works well with our GIF function, so think outside of box to see how you can get the most from this machine!

LED STUDIO LIGHTING

If you want to create a Photo-studio setup, a scene, or simply add extra lighting onto a background, we can do it all! Our high-spec, two-tone, studio lighting, offers choice of light intensity and the type of light, to ensure we create a perfect setting for your event. We can also create background, or foreground lighting, to suit your requirements.

CUSTOMISED PROPS

We have over 3k items at our warehouse, so we like to tailor to your event ‘theme’, where possible, and when required.

We can also offer a complete custom box of props with tailored chalkboards / whiteboards, frames and themed items – there are numerous options to consider!

GO-PRO CAMERA INTEGRATION

We can offer multi-angle and multi-camera content captured internally or externally, with rigs, tripods, or frames – many customers need more than one camera set-up, so please enquire if you need something extra. We can also customise the shape of the Pod to accommodate different kit, where required.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTEGRATION (SMI)

We can offer Social uploading via on-site Ipads and our fully customisable APP – using our own 4G WiFi facility (so we don’t need to rely on third-party connections). We can also build SMI functionality directly into our Pod’s, so this can be controlled on-screen.

We offer both a ‘basic’ service to upload Images via Social Media channels, or alternatively, a more in-depth ‘analytical’ option, with numerous choices, inclusive of a client dashboard, for overseeing the activity. This can aid in measuring the effectiveness of our products in delivering value, alongside Return on Investment, from the activity. Both options are fully customisable, so we can tailor, as you require!

We are very careful how Brands are portrayed via Social Media, so we will consult with you when using this feature, to ensure we fully understand all the necessary aspects.

Often, we build, customise or White Label the Pod to reflect the needs of our clients, or the specific ‘brief’. Nothing is too complex for us!

CUSTOM TOUCH-SCREEN / INTERFACE

Quite often we customise the Interface for a client, in order to brand the complete experience, from start to finish. We can add / alter buttons, or change the function entirely.

Creatively, we can do almost anything to match your brief, so get in touch to discuss this further!

MINI POD (TABLETOP)

Our Pod’s don’t need to be large free-standing units. If you are tight on space, the Pod can be cut in half and will sit nicely on a table. We can even make this much smaller for more discreet usage – or build the Pod into structures of choice – with no compromise on the high quality output. This would therefore make this one small Pod, with big potential!

GIF POD

All of our Pods can be enabled to produce GIF’s. This function can also be tied into Social Media uploading, to generate ‘viral’, digital content – think big! The GIF’s can also be fully customised with branded layouts and overlays, so there are plenty of options to make a BIG impact at your event!

FLIPBOOK-POD

This is where we can create – on-site – mini flip books, comprised with the Images taken within the Booth. We provide all the necessary utensils (cutting & binding equipment) – you just need to provide the creativity. Sounds intriguing? Get in touch to see what this can add for your event.

STICKER PRINTING POD

The Pod can also be transformed into a sticker printing machine, with several customisable options. If you wanted a new label for a product, or a bespoke photo & message to be created into a sticky label, we can do it all!

We also have a high spec Dye Cutting machine to allow labels of different shapes and sizes to be created. This isn’t just an option for big brands – think outside of the box to see how this can make a BIG Impact at your event!

‘OPEN AIR’ GREEN-SCREEN POD

We offer a high spec ‘open-air’ Greenscren solution, delivered with Studio lighting and a Film Quality backdrop (expandable to 2m x 2m). This can really generate a huge impact at your event – rotating through pre-set Images – where a static backdrop is not enough.

The Pod can also upgrade to multi-Greenscreen, thus becoming, the ‘Greenscreen Dream Machine’. In this instance, we supply hundreds of on-screen options for the user to choose from (including Augmented Reality!).

We can also go a step further and create a completely custom interface for your event, so you get one fully branded / themed experience – you’ll need to chat to us, to see how best to maximise this feature at your event

FAQs

We have tried to answer the most common questions below, however if we haven’t answered your question, please get in touch today so we can assist further.

  • How many guests can the Pod accommodate?
    The Pod can take as many as you can fit, standing, in front of the camera. The greater the distance between the front of the Pod and the backdrop, the greater the number of people that can fit into the shot.
  • Can you offer less than the standard 3 hours hire time?
    If you have above 30+ guests then one of our standard packages will be perfect for your event. We can cater for less than this, however we would need to tailor a package accordingly, to ensure you get value for money.
  • Do you travel around the UK?
    Yes! We cover the entire UK, however we do charge a small supplement for mileage going outside of the M25 – London is our where we are based.
  • Can this product be set up in a house?
    Yes! As long as we have sufficient working space, we can supply this product almost anywhere. We need a clearance of at least 1 metre from the front of the Booth to the backdrop / background selected however, to allow us to generate the best quality and consistency of Image.
  • Can I view the Pod before / after booking?
    Yes! We have a warehouse, so you are welcome to come and see any of our kit, if required. We only take appointments however, due to frequently being out, on-site with events – get in touch with us to secure a date – yet bear in mind we don’t do this on Sundays.
  • Is the Product suitable for ‘outside ‘usage?
    Yes! Please note that we would require a suitable cover over the equipment (i.e. tent / canopy), to ensure the electrical components are protected and that the unit is placed on flat ground flat ground.
  • How far can your power wires extend?
    We don’t like to trail wires where avoidable, however, we typically equip all of our units with a 5 metre extension cables, as standard (fully PAT Tested). We do have stock of up to 20 metres available on request.
  • Can you set up earlier to avoid clashing with our guests arriving / event proceedings
    Yes! This may be subject to an idle hour cost, however we typically build our packages accordingly to allow you to get the best value for your money.
  • Does the Pod work in dark locations?
    Yes! We can operate in dark locations, however, we do need to know if there is unsuitable background / ambient lighting so we can bring additional support lighting.
  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
    Yes – £5 million PLI. Our certificate is provided upon request, prior to an event.  We also equip staff with this documentation for viewing on-site, upon request.
  • Do you have PAT Tested Equipment?
    Yes. Our certificate is provided upon request, prior to an event.  We also equip staff with this documentation for viewing on-site, upon request.
  • Do you have a Risk Assessment / Health & Safety Documentation:
    Yes. Our Documentation is provided upon request, prior to an event.  We also equip staff with this documentation for viewing on-site, upon request.
  • Do you have a Method Statement?
    Yes. The certificate is provided upon request

Please note we are not the cheapest out there, however, we compete on customer service, customisation and quality of product. If you are looking for a basement price, we may not be the best suited company for you unfortunately – we just want to be honest from the outset!
